The Yoga-Life retreat offers an opportunity to dive deeper into your yoga practice and explore new styles and practices.  We will delve into different aspects of yoga and learn through experience how these styles and techniques affect our body, mind and spirit.  This retreat offers a fun-filled weekend and an opportunity to meet new people.

There is also plenty of free time to explore Glastonbury.  An ‘early-bird’ walk to watch the sunrise over the Tor is highly recommended!

Location
The Retreat takes place at Shekinashram in magical Glastonbury.  The ashram is situated in a beautiful, quite location on the side of Chalice Hill.  The Glastonbury Tor is 15 minutes walk away and the high street is only 5 minutes walk away.

Shekinashram is a spiritual community based upon commitment to living consciously, peacefully and truthfully.  A homely and relaxed setting offers you the opportunity to take rest and reflect and journey deeper into your spiritual practice.

Accommodation

Glastonbury retreatAccommodation is in shared twin rooms in the Ashram.  There is additional shared accommodation in the garden in the Cabin or Yurt.  Bathrooms are also shared.

Food

The Retreat is half-board and includes breakfast and lunch.  All food is vegan, and organic where possible.

Typical breakfast includes a delicious Shekinashram Superfood Smoothie, muesli, cereals, hemp/rice/soya milk, soya yogurt, goji berries, dried and fresh fruit & herb tea.

dsc02540Lunch is holistic food made with love, and includes foods like dahl, rice, dressed seaweed, hummous, soups, green salad and dressing.
